These terms cover use of this site and the work we do for you. The specifics of any job, including price, scope, and schedule, are set in the written quote we send and confirm with you. Where a signed quote or agreement differs from this page, that agreement controls.

Quotes and deposits
Prices on this site are starting points. We confirm price, scope, deliverables, and date in a written quote. For one-time jobs, a deposit of 30 percent holds the date; the balance is due on delivery unless the quote says otherwise. Plans and subscriptions are billed as stated in the quote.
What we deliver
We deliver measured documentation of a building or site: a 3D walkthrough, a dimensioned floor plan, photos, and any exports you order. You own the files we deliver to you. Hosting of the online walkthrough is a separate, optional service, and your files do not depend on it.
What our work is, and is not
Groundproof deliverables are documentation and design-grade measured records. They are not licensed land surveys, home inspections, code reviews, appraisals, or engineering drawings, and they do not certify completion, workmanship, or compliance. Accuracy figures we cite are the manufacturer's specifications for the Matterport Pro3 and vary with site conditions; you should verify critical dimensions before fabrication or construction. When a stamp or a professional opinion is required, hire the right licensed professional; we are glad to hand them clean data.
Access and site conditions
You are responsible for arranging safe, legal access to the property and for having the authority to have it captured. We document what is visible and reachable on the day; a capture-scope note records what was not.
Loss documentation
For loss work, we document conditions. We do not adjust claims, estimate coverage, or negotiate with insurers, and nothing we deliver is a promise about how a claim will be decided.
Cancellations
If you need to reschedule, tell us as early as you can and we will do our best to accommodate it. Deposits and cancellation terms for a specific job are stated in that job's quote.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana. This site is provided as is, without warranties beyond those set in your written quote or required by law.
